. . . And then there were six! With the delivery in September of UPRR 1996, the Union Pacific's fleet of "Proud Heritage" locomotives increased to one-half dozen. Built by EMDI, UP SD70ACe 1996 wears a highly stylized livery inspired-by the Southern Pacific Daylights. The one-of-a-kind attire was applied at the Wisconsin Southern RR paint shop in Horicon, Wisconsin.
